Starting with an aircraft-grade 416R stainless steel blank, the stainless blank is machined to create room for the carbon fiber. The carbon fiber is then expertly wrapped around the stainless steel blank using aerospace technology matrix resin. The result is a match-grade 416R stainless blank permanently bonded with aerospace-grade carbon fiber wrap.
